Application:

After shaving, rinse the skin with water and dry with a towel. Spread the After Shave Balm with your hand on the chin, cheeks, and base of the neck and massage in gently.

The After Shave Balm is tailored to the special needs of men’s skin after shaving.

Arnica tincture and witch hazel, natural medicinal plants, have an antibacterial and skin-soothing effect. They support the regeneration of the skin and soothe minor shaving-related skin irritations. They also stimulate blood circulation and strengthen the skin’s defences.

Allantoin nourishes the skin and accelerates cell regeneration.

Aloe vera and hyaluron provide intensive moisture and ensure a fresh, supple complexion.

Natural oils in combination with the innovative active ingredient Antarcticine® provide intensive care and protect the skin from drying out.

Special Ingredients

Arnica tincture

Arnica tincture is at home in the mountains and has always been used for injuries, cuts and inflammations. The soothing effect is provided by helenanine, which – as proven by studies – suppresses the formation of inflammatory factors (cytokines) making this alpine flower a popular and reliable helper for shaving-related skin irritations.

Witch hazel extract

Witch hazel extract is a medicinal plant that has anti-inflammatory and antipruritic effects.

ANTARCTICINE®

ANTARCTICINE® protects the bacterium Pseudoalteromonas Antarctica NF3 from extreme temperatures in Antarctica. Studies prove the special properties of Antarcticine®: it protects the skin from dryness, especially in the cold season. It promotes the formation of skin cells and collagen type 1 and 4. It significantly and visibly reduces the depth of wrinkles.

Allantoin

Allantoin is an ingredient found in many plants. It soothes the skin, supports wound healing and accelerates cell regeneration. For use in cosmetics, the keratolytic (skin-renewing) effect is particularly important.

NMF – natural moisturising factors

NMF – natural moisturising factors are water-binding active ingredients that are a natural component of the horny layer and play an important role in preserving skin moisture. They consist of several amino acids, fatty acids and urea. The healthy skin barrier is demonstrably protected and moisturised while the skin’s pH value is stabilised.
