The lip balm contains purely natural ingredients and has been adapted to the special needs of the lip skin.

Jojoba and olive oil of the highest quality are strongly refatting and soothing. Valuable sea buckthorn oil boasts a sustainably regenerating and protective effect on the skin barrier through special unsaturated fatty acids.

Shea and cocoa butter provide a soft, nourishing feeling on the lips. Tocopherol as a powerful radical scavenger is an indispensable companion for the challenges to which the sensitive skin of the lips is exposed every day.

Special Ingredients

Tocopherol

Tocopherol is a collective term for various vitamin E derivatives and has an antioxidant effect. Furthermore, it can counteract premature skin aging after UV radiation by activating a special enzyme. Studies have shown the positive influence of tocopherol on the skin’s surface relief, moisture retention and enzyme activity.

Sea buckthorn oil

Sea buckthorn oil possesses antibacterial and skin-soothing properties. It is therefore particularly suitable for red, chapped, or itchy lips and mouth corners. This oil, extracted from the berries of the sea buckthorn bush, is appreciated as an active ingredient supplier for dry, irritated skin because of its balanced oil composition and its numerous nutrients. Due to its high content of carotenoids (plant pigments), it is  also important as an antioxidant and  free radical scavenger. As proven by studies due to its particularly high content of palmitic acid it plays an important role in protecting the skin barrier.

Shea butter

Shea butter is used in natural medicine for various skin problems. It supports the natural replenishment of the skin and smoothes chapped and rough areas.
